Alex defends her thesis, and Padam gets a job at UNC Chapel Hill!

In her thesis "Artificial Lysogeny as a Novel Method to Produce and Isolate Elusive Microviruses", she describes a way to reboot functional phages and phage asssembly intermediates, helping in both the isolation of new microviruses and the analysies of their construction within their host.

Additionally, Padam, who stayed with us for the spring semester to set up protein work in the lab now starts his postdoc at UNC Chapel Hill!
